  • With thousands of Lesson Plans aligned to CTE, Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, as well as Integrated STEAM/STEM projects and model course outlines you can copy and share.

CTE Coalition – Keep CTE Moving

  • Keep CTE Moving allows those instructors and students to access hundreds of online classes, videos, and instructional materials in areas such as machining, welding, mechatronics, industry 4.0, and programming. All online materials — many available at no charge for the next 30 days — are produced by the coalition partners. These resources will help CTE faculty and students adapt teaching and learning to a new virtual environment with the flexibility to learn now and test hands-on skills later.
  • CTE instructors are urged to visit Keep CTE Moving regularly for new partners, more learning resources and guidance that will evolve over time.


SkillsUSA Career Essentials

  • Recognizing these challenging circumstances, SkillsUSA is offering two of our courses (exploratory and fundamental) for purchase in smaller, deeply discounted segments, allowing teachers flexible options during the uncertainty of this current health crisis. 
  • SkillsUSA Career Essentials: Experiences courses are available for:
    • Early high school students (Fundamental – approximately 35 hours to complete)
    • Upper high school students (Advanced – approximately 45 hours to complete)
    • College students (Advanced or Adult Learner – approximately 45 hours to complete)

Recording Lectures

  • Daily/Weekly lectures can easily be recorded through a variety of platforms. 
  • If you already utilize a learning management system in your school, check out the recording and sharing capabilities there first. If not, platforms like teams and Zoom will allow you to record a "meeting" (you can be the only one in the meeting) to share out to your classes.

ServSafe – Free Online Courses and Training

  • For 30 years, ServSafe has been at the forefront of preparing restaurant and foodservice workers to deliver safe dining experiences for their guests, while also keeping themselves safe. Every day, we train the restaurant and food service industry on topics like cooking temperatures, safe storage, and cross contamination, as well as hygiene, sanitation, and other risk mitigation activities. Because of the challenges presented by COVID-19, we have developed a number of free resources aimed at keeping our workers and the dining public safe.

  • Miller® OpenBook is a free learning management system (LMS) used to plan, implement, offer and assess learning processes. With OpenBook, welding instructors can assign and deliver welding content, create quizzes, welding labs, monitor student participation, and assess and report student progress and performance.

  • This LMS offers a wide variety of welding resources and course materials — such as e-learning modules, hands-on welding labs and quizzes.
